Woody Mayhew
is a veteran diver, traveler and underwater photographer. Equipment is his passion and you can find him buried in Nikon F4s's, N90's, Nikonos' of all descriptions, strobes, arms and several varieties of housings (he is currently an Anthis/Nexus and Ultralight dealer). He knows the stuff inside out and frequently contributes to the development of new products and product modifications for several different underwater camera equipment manufacturers. When not in Dallas surrounded by his beloved photo gear, you can find him in Indonesia, the Philippines, or another exotic location using a portion of his equipment. He calls this "testing". Woody contributes Tales, photos and book reviews to SeaHorseTales as well as answering questions for the Trips page. Watch for the "wm" initials to recognize his contributions. |

Deborah Fugitt
is a drop out computer systems analyst who dropped into the dive industry as a photographer, writer and (you guessed it!) web systems developer. Deb hates equipment, loves underwater photography and has a love/hate relationship with PC's. You will recognize her either as the woman with too much carry on luggage... (a bag full of cameras and a laptop on one shoulder, box of film under the other arm and wearing a photo vest loaded with batteries and such); as the woman that is either always underwater (7 dives /day is good) or always at the computer; or as the woman that plans too many trips and articles. Deb edits, writes Tales, contributes photos, book reviews, links and FAQ answers, and publishes SeaHorseTales. Anything not marked probably came from Deb. |

Maria Kavallaris & Sophia Symeou Maria is an underwater photographer and writer with several photographic awards to her name. Sophia is an educator, writer and photographer. Over the past sixteen years their passion for diving has led them to many fascinating dive sites and experiences which they enjoy sharing with divers and non-divers alike. In 1994 they established SeaDance Images with the aim of educating children and adults on the wonders that can be found within our oceans. By sharing their knowledge, information and love of diving, they hope to foster a greater understanding and commitment to preserving the marine environment. Sophia writes Tales on a variety of subjects and Maria contributes photos to SeaHorseTales. The initials "ss" or "mk" identify their contributions. |
