Creatures at Kungkungan Bay Resort by D. Fugitt
The photo opportunities in the Lembeh Strait (North Sulawesi, Indonesia) are not to
be believed. All the unusual and strange creatures live here. Various species of
ghost pipefish, frogfish and seahorses are only a beginning.
Post-Nautika the women photographers overrun Club Ocellaris in the Anilao area of
Batangas. Four dives per day, sometimes two cameras per dive, these hard-core
photographers enjoyed Philippines hospitality and non-stop diving. The unusual
creatures and night dives became the highlights of the tour.
The 1st annual Women Photographers' Tour participants dived Verde Island, Puerto
Galera and the Apo Island Reef system and turtle sanctuary. Check the ongoing

The March trip to the Philippines will follow up on this clam reseeding project
by the University of the Philippines and The Ocean Heritage foundation.
The Moluccas Festival in Ambon, Indonesia includes an underwater
photography competition, big game fishing tournament and other activities.
